The UV protection is not a separate layer or temporary surface treatment. We work from the material itself, so that protection is an integral part of the textile.
This makes the fabric stable, comfortable, and suitable for everyday use, as long as it is carefully maintained and remains intact.

WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW
Clear answers about UPF 50+, SGS, OEKO-TEX®, material safety and careful maintenance.
UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and indicates how much UVA and UVB radiation passes through textile. UPF 50+ is the highest official classification and means that at least 98% is blocked.
SGS is an internationally recognized testing and inspection institute. It verifies material performance according to laboratory standards, thus measurably substantiating the protection class.
STANDARD 100 tests textiles for harmful substances. Product Class I is the most stringent class and is used for materials that must be suitable for direct and sensitive skin contact.

The materials used comply with OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, Product Class I, and have been selected for direct skin contact. In cases of individual sensitivity, personal medical advice remains paramount.
It is the fabric that comes into direct contact with the skin. That is why material safety, in addition to UV performance, is a separate and important part of the quality assessment.
